It’s been quite a while.

I’m sorry that I’ve not posted since March, but I have good news… kind of.

I’ve moved out of the shelter but; I’m very tight on money, well we are. I have a Roommate, and she’s gotten a rather nice job as a waitress at a upscale French restaurant which tips VERY well. So she’s able to afford the Motel we’re lodging at right now.

She’s from the same Shelter as me, and we’ve gone north and up a state so that we’re out of the tax-stupid state we were in.

My PTSD is very bad, but my roommate gets it, and once I get my medicaid sorted I’m going back into therapy to sort that out, and I’ll likely look into filing for disability.

We’re looking for places to rent, but our funds are dubious, so we’re hoping we get there.

In the meantime I’m healing and taking care of my mental health.

About Nexus Mods

No, I don’t approve of what they’re doing. They’re basically stripping the autonomy of their mod authors, for the most moronic, fickle reasons I’ve ever seen. For a feature that is basically a pipe dream in an abandoned water park.

I hate it. I will say that I’m not popular enough to be effected by it, and almost all of my mods have open permissions, aside from those locked by resources; I.E. Perms inherited buy resources used, Demon Hunter Armor has perms laid out by jmenaru, for example.

In all honesty, I hate it, and while my stuff won’t be pulled, as that’s dumb I’m not popular enough to pull that stunt, I will be slowly leaving the community.

What’s Planned

• No new mods are going to be posted on Nexus.
• I’m slowly going to stop updating my current mods on Nexus.
  • This will lead to support being pulled from them, and I’ll be pointing those people to come here to my Mod page.
  • Once enough time and transition has passed, I will lock my mods and make them static.
  • I will not hand them over to the curator, however.
• I’m thinking of other mod communities to upload, we’ll see.

What This Means on My End

• I have to work on the site.
  • Back pages, mod directory, even the receipts and extra pages.
• The layout and UI need lots of work.
  • I’ve paid for the custom CCS feature. I do not have the money for a custom CCS layout yet, though, but if I get there, I will be commissioning one, as I have a few contacts I think would be willing.
