Ecliptic Orrery

– The jist.

After I moved, life punched me in the face. I held three jobs, still on my third. Family drama was cranked to 11 and I’m still not out of it, I’m just managing it.

The most main of reasons I’ve not updated was IRL goings-on. And honestly I’m not up to unpacking that yet, because I feel it’s still packing itself in, so let’s leave that for another day.

– Nexus

About collections

I reversed my decision to not release on nexus. Mostly because I’m not a person who values complete control of what is essentially an open community. That, and it did not turn out as insufferable as we thought. I still feel yucky about the decision, but I really don’t like talking about since it’s moot now.

My Mods

I have released on nexus, instead of here, because doing both really is exhausting. Real Life ™ has just drained me to my core, so it was one and done.

But here’s a list of things I’ve dropped since march:

• High Poly Skyrim Plus – High Poly Head Hair Expressive Facegen and Starsight Eyes
• Wash Yo Face – Blank Dirt and Face Tint for FaceGen
• Colorful Nordic UI Markers
• Eyelashes with Haircolor Sync – Starsight Addon

I didn’t really get my stamina up enough to create mods until September. I had a job that pressed me into the ground, and it’s didn’t let up until it made me so unhealthy I had to take a medical leave. I wasn’t joking it’s been rough.

The High poly + Starsight stuff has been very fun, especially with the eyelash sync update. I’m reminded now that I really really need to update my NPC apperince mods like Natural People to their High Poly versions. They exist on my hard drive; it’s just screenshotting them is such a labor that makes my OCD go insane. And several NPCS in the mod are WIP at best, which with my methods would take some time to mess with and make up to my standards.

The UI markers mod has been very fun. I love working in Inkscape now, and it looks easy enough to create from scratch, so we’ll see.

– The Blog.

It has sat here for almost a year inactive. The Mega folders need more work, and the mod pages are in need up updating too. I’ll be honest I don’t have a cushy lifestyle most people who run these do. Still technically couch surfing, and the work on it piles up into my executive dysfunction.

– Setsugekka is back

In October, I got to go back home to TN for a bit, and a month before my mother had shiped my desktop PC to my dad. I was OVERJOYED to find her in complete working condition, with quite a lot of her files still very much in tact.

I haven’t had her in over 4 years so I was thrilled. I got a second moniter from my Friend for Christmas, so that was also lovely. Nice to have dual moniters again.

Anyway…

I’m happy I was able to at least chug out this post. I’ve not forgotten about you guys.
